ref.: our company's offering of providing special services of electric and power equipment

The Measurement and Automation Centre of Coal Industry JSC has been providing special services for 35 years. Until the beginning of 90's we had carried out service work almost exclusive for the mining sector only. At the moment of economical conversion to the free-market system and emerging our company from structures of the "Knurów" colliery as an independent economical subject, our offer was targeted outside the mining industry either, what brought fruitful effects in form of increasing rate of companies out from the mining industry in total sale of our services.

We offer our clients a wide scope of special services listed in details in the attachment to this offer. The included price list presents the varieties of tasks that we are able to perform for our Customers more precisely together with prices. That price-list covers typical works carried out for our Clients, but we are not limited to them. In case, when a Customer requires carrying out other works which are not included in the price list, but fall into our business range, we prepare an individual calculation for each customer-defined scope of work supported by our own standards.

Thanks to our high-qualified and experienced engineering and technical staff (every technical employee has secondary education at least and professional attestation by SEP - The Union of Polish Electrics - or OIGE - accordingly to the performed work), modern control and measuring equipment as well as permanent progress of technical knowledge and searching for technical news, we are still tending to improve quality of our service and enlarge the offer.

In our company we have the Quality Management System that was implemented in 1999. That system bases on the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 standard.

Simultaneously, since 1997, we have been the expert institution authorised by the High Mining Authority (WUG) to test electric and mechanical parts of hoisting mining machines, carry out acceptance testing of explosion-protected devices and constructions as well as exercising measurements and testing in methane-hazardous areas by means of special instruments and methods.

Nowadays, the basic range of our services includes measurements, analyses and technical support in the following areas:

• power supplying system as well as electric and power protection;
• shock-preventing installations for all the voltage levels, together with assessment of protection reliability in the systems energized by means of electronic converters;
• lighting protection systems;
• analyzing of power supply parameters and power consumption features (values, frequency, voltage and current timings, active and reactive power consumption);
• testing of electric and power machines and equipment (engines, power transformers, batteries of capacitors and accumulators),
• examining of dielectric protecting equipment;
• measurement of illumination;
• point-to-point location of electric and power cables and control lines defects as well as routing the ones;
• optimization of charging plan for electric power and accounting systems;
• analyzing and calculation of electric and power networks,
• analysing of reactive power consumption, selection and designing the reactive power compensation systems,
• selection and installation of uninterrupted power supplying (UPS) systems;
• technical projects of switching and distributing systems as well as industrial automatic systems;
• driving system testing and servicing - both traditional ones and converter-based ones.
